THE WOODLANDS

Private Residence, United States

Classic. Timeless. One with the land. That’s how the clients of this Texas retreat describe their home. The organic architecture blends into the landscape and uses earthy, textural materials that flow inside and out-copper, regional stone and dark mahogany. The main living area is positioned up to capture views. Front doors open into the center of the composition where the view releases toward the surrounding green. At each end, cantilevered screened porches reach into nature providing a pair of outdoor family rooms.
